Kick Off the Campaign Season at the Mt. Vernon District Democratic Committee’s 36th Annual Ice Cream Social – Sunday, Sept. 08, 2013

 

Join your Democratic colleagues Sunday, Sept. 08, 2013 from
2-4 pm for the 36th annual Ice Cream Social at the home of
Joe Tompkins and family, 8146 Wellington Rd., Alexandria.

Parking

Option 1:  St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 8009 Ft. Hunt Rd. (No Shuttle this year). This is still tentative. Stand by for a follow-on update. So for now, be very careful about parking near the house.
Option 2:  The GW Parkway authority promised us 25 parking passes for West Blvd. This is still tentative. Stand by for a follow-on update. We’ll pass out passes at the site. So for now, be very careful about parking near the house.

As usual, all your local Democratic candidates and elected officials will be there to welcome you back from summer travels and talk about the importance of our federal elections Nov.6th . This is the best chance for Mt. Vernon residents to meet all the Democratic candidates in a relaxed setting.

The Ice Cream Social is a  FREE family event with food, live music, and games for kids. However, we do encourage you to donate whatever you can to help us elect Democrats this fall.
