Over 100 Fairfax Democrats met John McCain and Sarah Palin at today’s rally in the City of Fairfax.  We had an energized bunch with lots of good signs and chants.
The Fairfax Democrats crowd actually looked like Northern Virginia.  The crowd walking into the rally was about 99.9% white.  Many were from outside of Virginia or Northern Virginia who were coming to get their first live glimpse of John McCain.

The scary thing about this rally was that so many people did show up.  The Republicans mean business folks.  This election is going to be won at every church, living room, and doorstep in Northern Virginia.  If 20,000 Republicans showing up at a City of Fairfax rally does not get you up to start working on the weekends, I do not know what will.  We cannot take anyone’s vote or any jurisdictions for granted.
It’s time to get to work.
