Calendar

When suggesting an event please complete all applicable fields. Suggestions are reviewed within 2-3 days, and added to the calendar at the discretion of the Fairfax County Democratic Committee. Please make sure you include all the contact information for the person suggesting the event (no event can be added without this), and in addition please include ALL the event details (who, what, why, when, where, contact person and their information, etc.). Calendar Item Options

Once you open (click) a calendar item, there are three very helpful choices (icon) available to you from the event toolbar: ‘Print‘, ‘Export in iCal format‘, and ‘Create or edit email reminder‘. To easily add an item to your calendar, click the middle icon, “Export in iCal format“. You will then be presented with a dialogue box: choose to OPEN, then SAVE – the selected calendar item will be added to your personal calendar (e.g. Outlook). To add an iCal event to another type of calendar, such as Google, you’ll need to SAVE the item, then import the iCal file.
