VOTE EARLY for the Democratic Primary

Do you live in the 10th Congressional District in Fairfax County?  Will you be unable to get to the polls on June 12th?  Then you probably qualify to vote early (in-person absentee) in the upcoming Democratic primary!

It’s easy! Just arrive at the location, fill out the absentee ballot application provided, check in with photo ID, and you’ll be directed to the voting booth. All ballots are counted on June 12th.

The Fairfax County Government Center will be open for voting Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (Thursdays extended to 7pm).
Also, it will be open 9am-5pm on the following Saturdays: June 2nd and June 9th.  Nine additional satellite locations will be open on Saturday June 9th only (see below for details).

Some common reasons to vote early:
• You’ll be outside of Fairfax County for any period of time for work, business or personal reasons on June 12th • You or your spouse are going to school or college outside of Fairfax County
• You’ll be working and commuting for 11 hours or more between 6am and 7pm on June 12th (even if you never leave Fairfax County) • You are disabled or ill, taking care of a disabled or ill family member, or you are pregnant
• You are a first responder or emergency medical worker • You or your spouse will be on active military duty outside of Fairfax on June 12th
