NoVIE – the Northern Virginia Idea Exchange is hosting two candidate forums entitled: Government & Nonprofits: A Dialogue about Roles, Responsibilities and Perspectives.

Each forum will feature one of the candidates for Governor of Virginia. Candidates will be asked to discuss their ideas and positions in response to questions regarding how (or if) state government should support or collaborate with nonprofits and the role that nonprofits can or should play in advancing the goals of the Commonwealth.

Both events will be held at the James Lee Community Theater at the James Lee Community Center, 2855 Annandale Road, Falls Church, VA. The schedule is as follows:

Friday, September 1, 10-11am: Dr. Ralph Northam, Democrat

Thursday, September 14, 2-3pm: Ed Gillespie, Republican
