Persons wishing to be elected as National Convention Delegates or Alternates, or Presidential Elector at the 8th Congressional District Democratic Convention must file a statement of candidacy by 5:00 PM, May 3.

• 8th Congressional District Democratic Committee Call to Convention
• Prefiling Deadline to be a Presidential Elector: Online by May 3 @ 5:00 PM (Form)

Virginia Democratic Convention (DPVA Call to Convention):

• 10:00 AM, June 22nd, 2024, at Greater Richmond Convention Center – Grand Ballroom, 403 North Third St, Richmond.

Democratic National Convention  (DNC Call to Convention):

• Monday, August 19 through Thursday, August 22, 2024 in Chicago (DNC website).
