Priorities for Progressives Over the Next Eighteen Months @ Providence Community Center (upper level)

Presented in partnership by: Fairfax Young Democrats; the National Affairs Committee of the Fairfax County Democratic Committee; the Providence District Democratic Committee; and Together We Will – Northern Virginia

How can progressives best ensure that Democrats regain the White House and control of both houses of Congress in 2020? How can we most effectively work together and manage the fallout from inevitable family squabbles that will emerge over policy? What priority issues resonate most with our electorate, and therefore should be the prime focus of our electoral strategies over the next 18 months?

Come join your fellow Democrats and other progressives in a dialogue on these issues with Dr. Amitai Etzioni, author and editor of many books on social and public policy issues. Dr. Etzioni was a senior adviser to the Carter White House. In 2001 he was named among the top 100 American intellectuals, as measured by academic citations, in Richard Posner’s book, “Public Intellectuals: A Study of Decline.”

This is a free event, but you must register to attend.
