Join us as we help to maintain part of the Springfield District!
Participating in the VDOT Adopt-A-Highway program, Springfield Democrats volunteers to clean a 2-mile stretch of Burke Road, between Rolling Road and Burke Lake Road. We’ve been doing this community service project for 11 years!
Safety vests, orange trash bags and gripping tongs are provided. Volunteers are asked to wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately for the weather and wear gloves.
Children age 10 and up can participate when accompanied by an adult. This event requires walking near passing traffic.
