Canvassers press on, despite hot weather
Thank you, canvassers!
The intense summer heat did not deter our wonderful canvassers this past weekend. Volunteers braved 90+ temperatures to knock on doors all over Fairfax County. At last count, 239 volunteers showed up at the various staging areas and knocked on 8,237 doors. A friend and I canvassed Oak Marr precinct (yes, the driveways are long and steep) but it was worth it: voters showed strong support for our entire slate. Good job, canvassers and keep it up! A special thank you to the Bakers for hosting a social event for the volunteers.
