Sierra Club and the 2010 Congressional Election

Sierra Club has endorsed two environmentally progressive Northern Virginia Congressional candidates, Gerry Connolly and Jim Moran. At our meeting, we will discuss why Sierra Club endorses these candidates, and hear from both Congressmen. We will have a lively discussion on the impact the election will have on the environment. Both have strong voting records for the environment, green jobs, and renewable energy. Join in the open discussion.
In addition, we will have a local Green business, that performs home energy audits and retrofits, and has
grown using the new green energy tax incentives. Discount coupons for home energy audits will be available
for attendees.
The meeting will take place at the Woodrow Wilson Library, 6101 Knollwood Drive, Falls Church VA 22041,
near Bailey’s Crossroads, Saturday, October 9, at 2 pm. Light refreshments. Bring a friend.
