67th House District Caucus Cancelled; Clingan is Nominee
Eric Clingan was the only person to file by the July 15th 5 pm deadline; and thus, is declared the Democratic Party nominee for the 67 House District. Therefore, as per the Call to the 67 House District Caucus, the Caucus scheduled for Saturday, July 23, 2011 is cancelled.

Virginia General Assembly
The Counties of Fairfax and Loudoun Democratic Committees hereby announce that they will hold an unassembled caucus at noon on July 23, 2011 at the Sully Government Center (4900 Stonecroft Boulevard, Chantilly, Virginia 20151) for the purpose of nominating a candidate for the 67th House District of the Virginia General Assembly.
The 67th House District consists of parts of the Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.
The following precincts in Fairfax County are in the 67 House District:

- Cub Run (903) 5,625
- Dulles (904) 3,090
- Fair Lakes (843) 5,210
- Greenbriar East (846) 6,222
- Greenbriar West (847) 4,069
- Lees Corner (920) 4,299
- Navy (911) 5,054
- Poplar Tree (928) 3,982
- Rocky Run (913) 5,892
- Waples Mill (916) 5,551

Any person wishing to be a candidate for nomination for the 67th House District must submit a Declaration of Candidacy, $352.80 Filing Fee payable to the “Fairfax County Democratic Committee”, and Petitions of Qualified Voters (125 valid signatures) with Patricia (Patsy) E. Brown, Chair of the 67th House Legislative District Nominating Committee, 5662 Thorndyke Court, Centreville, VA 20120 prior to 5:00 pm, July 15, 2011. No person who has failed to comply with the prefiling requirements may be considered for nomination.
Any person participating in that caucus shall sign a standardized declaration form stating that he or she is a registered voter in the 67th House District, a Democrat, believes in the principles of the Democratic Party, and that he or she does not intend to support a candidate opposed to the Democratic nominee of the 67th House District in the next ensuing election.
