Join us for a reception to honor the work of Lilyan and Abe Spero, two great Democrats who devoted much of their lives to voter registration and engaging young voters. The Memorial Fund was established to continue their mission.

Abe and Lilyan Spero were active and effective Democrats for Mantua, for Providence District, and for Fairfax County. Upon Lilyan’s passing in 2011, the Lilyan and Abe Spero Memorial Fund was established by the Fairfax County Democratic Committee with an initial gift from the Spero estate. In keeping with Abe’s and Lilyan’s commitments during their lives, the Fund is dedicated to the dual goals of engaging Young Democrats (especially at George Mason University, where Abe was a Trustee) and registering voters (which Lilyan focused on as Registrar).
Help us keep the fund active and growing by joining us at a reception at the home of Pam Charin, in Mantua.
