The 2012 Grassroots Workshop is a nuts-and-bolts precinct operations skills-building session for volunteers who will help our Democratic candidates – President Obama, Tim Kaine, Congressmen Moran and Connolly, and Kristin Cabral – to get elected to office in 2012 and beyond.
The 2012 Grassroots Workshops will be offered during two separate 90-min sessions to accomodate for a robust skills building opportunity for all attendees. Session I will be repeated during Session II so that more people can be trained. The Sessions will be further broken down into two tracks – the Precinct Volunteer Track and the Precinct Management Track.
The Precinct Volunteer Track is designed for volunteers who are interested in building their specific precinct operations skills. The Precinct Management Track is an advance training session designed for Precinct Captains/Leaders who are currently managing precincts. All Captains/Leaders are encouraged to attend. This will be a fast-paced session and full participation in a timely manner is requested.
2012 is an opportune year to bleed Virginia Blue! Fairfax Democrats are very important in making that happen and this training can be the difference maker. All Fairfax Democrats are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
