FAIRFAX DEMOCRATS LAUD SUPREME COURT DECISION ON AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
In an historic decision today, the Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, a comprehensive law providing all Americans with a most basic need – affordable, quality healthcare. Millions who were denied coverage in the past are today reassured that they and their loved ones can obtain the care they need despite a pre-existing condition, a life threatening illness or injury they couldn’t otherwise afford.
“We commend the Supreme Court for rising above partisan argument and making a finding under the rule of law,” commented Cesar del Aguila, chair of the Fairfax Democrats. “This Act gives the American people the security of knowing that they have access to affordable, quality care that they might not otherwise have.”
