The Fairfax County Democratic Committee is pleased to announce that our 2014 Democratic nominee for Congress in the Tenth District will be John Foust.


Since Dranesville Supervisor John Foust was the only candidate who filed to be a Tenth Congressional District Democratic candidate by the March 13, 2014 deadline, the Chair of the Tenth Congressional District cancelled the April 26, 2014 nominating convention. Pursuant to Section 7a of the FCDC Call to Caucus, the FCDC First Vice-Chair has cancelled all Fairfax County Unassembled Caucuses scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2014.
With the cancelling of the nominating convention, John Foust will become our nominee upon the completion of the verification process by State Board of Elections.
