Sen. Puller Announces Retirement
On Wednesday, January 14, 2015, Senator Linda “Toddy” Puller announced that she will retire when she completes her current term in the Virginia Senate. Senator Puller has represented Fairfax County’s southern precinct voters as either a state Delegate or Senator since 1991. Her retirement after 23 years in public office is a great loss to those she represented not just in Fairfax County but also the Occoquan, Woodbridge, and Montclair areas of Prince William County and Northern Stafford County, particularly those whose lives depend on the U.S. Route 1 corridor to which she devoted her legislative career. As the wife of a disabled veteran and the daughter in-law of the most-decorated serviceman in Marine history, we could not find anyone more supportive of veterans and the military than Senator Puller. We wish her a great retirement.
