SullyGROWTH is an opportunity for youth ages 15-25 to volunteer or complete internships by participating in campaigns, beginning with the 2019 local elections.

Speak out on the issues you care about, AND complete civics volunteer hours by volunteering in local elections this fall!  School Board, Soil and Water Conservation, Board of Supervisors, Commonwealths Attorney, VA General Assembly:  these officials make policies that affect us daily!  In local election campaigns, volunteers meet the candidates and have impact.

Students in Sully District who commit to complete 5 different activities will be INTERNS (requiring 12 hours minimum, between now and November) and will be recommended for scholarships in top summer political institutes next summer.  (U Va’s Sorensen Institute (SI college or SI high school)  and American University’s NSLC).  It’s also guaranteed that you will get stories to tell, and leader-contacts who will write recommendations for college or scholarship applications in the spring!

For all VOLUNTEERS, this is a way to make contacts and gain experience.
