Yesterday, I filed a complaint with the Electoral Board after a state electoral Board member bullied several of our volunteers at the Asian American Festival this past weekend in Reston.
The Electoral Board member, a new appointee who is a Republican, represented to our volunteers that they were not permitted to have voter registration applications on the same table as Obama materials and gave them his State Board of Elections business card.  This is not the law.
The Republican Party Chairman, Jeff Fredericks, has made clear that the Republican Party of Virginia intends to intimidate Democratic activists and supporters.  The Washington Post excoriated Mr. Fredericks for his behavior in this editorial.  The Fairfax County Democratic Committee will not stand by while its law-abiding volunteers are being harassed for following the law.
