The Virginia Young Democrats Disability Caucus cordially invites you to our fundraiser this Wednesday Evening in nearby McLean, to help ensure that Virginia Young Democrats and the Disability Caucus have the resources we need to register and mobilize the vital constituency of young people with disabilities.
What: VAYD Disability Caucus Fundraiser
When: Wednesday, September 17, from 6-8 pm
Where:  Clemyjontri Park in Fairfax County (McLean, VA) — 6317 Georgetown Pike McLean, Virginia 22101.

Clemyjontri Park is a playground where children with and without disabilities can play side by side sharing the fun and thrills of a playground unlike any other in Fairfax. 15% of proceeds will go to benefit  the unique playground at Clemyjontri Park.
Special Guests: Delegate Margi Vanderhye, and former Clinton Administration Assistant Secretary of Education for the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services Judy Heumann, will be in attendance.  Other prominent Virginia Democratic legislators may drop by as well.

Details: With Election Day less than two months away the VAYD Disability Caucus is actively engaged in mobilizing young people with disabilities and allies across the Commonwealth to become  educated on the issues, empowered in the political process and a significant voting bloc in this decisive election. This caucus also works to ensure that the chartered units of the Virginia Young Democrats are inclusive and welcoming towards young people with disabilities who wish to impact the political process.
