Cinco de Mayo Celebration – FCDC Diversity Outreach Committee
6507 Columbia Pike
Annandale
Members and friends,
The FCDC Diversity Outreach hosts its annual Cinco de Mayo event at the Mason Government Center on Sunday, May 5 from 5:30 to 9:00 PM.
Join us and celebrate this tradition.
Learn about the true meaning of Cinco de Mayo, which commemorates the Battle of Puebla and how it influenced U.S. history.
Come experience traditional Latin food, folk group performances, modern dances, meet our elected officials, and more.
As usual, we’ll have a table with information every new citizen should know.
Our purpose is to raise awareness among minority communities and inform them that civic involvement and voting are vital at this time when our democracy is under attack.
We hope you will join us in this vibrant event to unite communities.
