Special Guest Speaker – Jay Jones, a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates (D-89) and candidate for the Democratic nomination for Attorney General of Virginia.

October 1, 2022, is the 5th anniversary of the worst mass shooting in American history. We are gathering to honor the memories of those who were killed, show the survivors and the families of those killed we are still thinking of them, and to celebrate Safer Country’s successful initiative to create Fairfax County’s red flag law public awareness campaign. The “Prevent A Gun Tragedy – Speak Up!” campaign, endorsed by the ADC, will save lives.

Co-Chairs: Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano; Fairfax County School Board Chair Rachna Sizemore Heizer; Fairfax County Supervisor Rodney Lusk (Franconia District); Fairfax Country Supervisor candidate Albert Vega (Springfield District).
